Course content
1. Defining the key terms: character education, ethical education and more. 2. Discussion on the role of art in formation of an individual's character. 3. Primary litertature analysis: Till we Have Faces, C.S. Lewis, The Famous Five, Enid Blyton, Five Children and It, E. Nesbit, selected short stories 4. Personal reading history as a tool for deepening self-knowledge.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the students will acquire following knowledge, skills and competencies: - They will be able to use the terms character education, moral education and ethical education correctly and with deep understaning of the context of its use. - They will gain understaning of the role art plays in forming an individual's character and values. - Students will learn to use literary texts to influence their learners'value systém. - They will learn to identify value based biases in artistic texts, select suitable texts for their students and lead a discussion on values and virtues in the classroom.
