Course content
Authentic, semi-authentic and educational texts. Pros and cons of authentic texts. Development of receptive language skills through authentic texts. Development of productive language skills through authentic texts. Development of vocabulary and grammar through authentic texts. Motivational value of authentic texts in self-development of the overall language competences.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to: - recognise and define authentic, semi-authentic and educational texts, - analyse pros and cons of the use of authentic, semi-authentic and educational texts in classes, - effectively select, analyse and evaluate suitability and quality of authentic texts, - search and use authentic texts for self-study and self-development.

Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio
