Course content
Content and goals of teaching English at the primary school level, Teaching English language skills. Evaluation and self-assessment of primary school pupils. Setting effective homework. Micro teaching.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Training in job and motor Skils, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: - Demonstrate knowledge of the content and objectives of teaching English at primary school, - demonstrate theoretical knowledge in the field of teaching selected English language skills at primary school, - demonstrate knowledge of the basic criteria for the assessment and self-assessment of pupils, - choose appropriate methods of assessment and testing of pupils in English lessons at primary school, - guide pupils to effective homework preparation, use different types of homework, - apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in practical teaching (micro outcomes).

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

80% attendance, active participation in lessons, timely completion of all tasks set by the teacher. Requirements for students with ISP: - students must complete all tasks set by the teacher during and at the end of the semester - attendance is not compulsory - at the end of the semester, students will be interviewed by the teacher to demonstrate that they independently acquired all the course content dealt with in the lessons
