Course content
Introduction into using literature in ELT Kinds of literature appropriate for classroom use, methods of usage Using poetry and song lyrics Short stories, tales, fairy-tales Novels, graphic novels Drama and theatre "Watching" literature - literary texts vs. film texts, adaptations of literary texts in the ELT classroom

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to: " incorporate authentic texts into the teaching of the English language, " proceed correctly in the selection and use of texts of different genres in the teaching of the English language, " develop students' reading literacy, " motivate and develop language communication with the help of a literary text.
