Course content
1. Defining drama education and its use in foreign language teaching 2. Movement as a means of language transfer and acquisition 3. Space and objects as a tool for teaching a second language through drama 4. Total physical response and use of sound and text in dramatic activities 5. Group drama activities 6. Using games to enhance passive and active language knowledge, 7. Enhancing learners' vocabulary through dramatic activities 8. Grammar through the lens of drama 9. Dramatic activities in the classroom: limits and opportunities 10. Plays and dramatic reading as a gateway to authentic language.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization), Group work, Analyzing and producing audiovisual content
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be: familiar with elementary drama activities and drama therapy able to use drama activities in ELT at primary and lower secondary school able to select didactically appropriate activities able to motivate and develop students' communication via drama activities

Student performance

Attendance (at least 80%). Active participation in the lessons, submitting a final reflection.
