Learning outcomes
|
The course deals with various writing styles and genres of written language, both formal and informal. Students will practise composing sentences, using linking expressions and punctuation, etc. Special attention is paid to learning from mistakes through guided self-correction

Credit requirements: Option A) A minimum of 80% attendance, punctual arrival and staying for the whole lesson, active participation in all lessons, completion of all classwork tasks, timely completion of any homework tasks set, completion of a written end-of-term. Option B) If more then two classes are missed of more then two home assigments are not completed within the given deadline, credit can be earned by passing a written test focused on all class contents. All written homework must be handed in to the teacher.
