Course content
The content of the lessons will be modified according to students' needs; below is the suggested list of topics. word classes; sentence; sentence and clause; sentence elements; word order; passive voice; causative constructions; verb + object + infinitive; verb + gerund or infinitive; typological comparison of the English and Czech languages

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to summarize and practise the most important morphological and syntactical items and to check students' knowledge of these two disciplines.

- 80% attendance - fulfilling all homework assignments - preparing and presenting an activity, a game or an interactive exercise for your classmates on a given grammatical topic
