Course content
1. Introduction to the TeX system and its formats, comparison with MSWord. 2. Basic typographic rules, text typing, math typing (comparison with MSWord). 3. TeX and LaTeX, editing, running, viewing, printing. 4. Conversion documents to TeX including GrindEQ and MathType software. 5. Simple presentations (comparison with MSPowerPoint). 6. Including graphics to documents. 7. Introduction to MetaPost.
