Course content
|
Participation in the conference can be realized in the form of: 1) passive attendance at the conference (student as student) = KAE / ZTPA 2) active participation in the conference - oral presentation = KAE / ZTPB 3) active participation in the conference - sending a contribution to the proceedings (regardless of whether or not it will be accepted) = KAE / ZTPC 4) active participation in the conference - publication of the paper in the proceedings = KAE / ZTPD The student chooses one or more options according his / her preferentions.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to motivate students to participate in a scientific conference in the field of management and economics. In the case of passive participation (processing) to gain experience from a scientific conference and knowledge of topics that are currently the subject of scientific research.
In the case of passive participation, students recieve experience from a scientific conference and knowledge on topics that are currently subject to scientific research. As an active participant, the student has the opportunity to present the findings of his / her scientific research in front of expert audience (as a presentation or in writing contribution). In the case of an oral presentation, student can react within a professional discussion.

Interest in current trends in management and economics. Formal dress.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Systematic Observation of Student
Procedure for successful fulfillment of conditions: 1. After consulting with the course guarantor, the student will find a suitable event. It must be a scientific conference in the field of management or economics in the Czech Republic or abroad. It is recommended to participate in the international scientific conference KNOWCON held annually in September KAE FF UP, see www.knowledgeconference.upol.cz. This event is for students of Bc., NMgr. and Mgr. free of charge. Any costs associated with participation in another event are covered by the student. 2. The student duly registers for the event and follows the instructions of the event organizer. It is always necessary to meet all deadlines properly! 3. The student follows the instructions of the conference organizer in order to publish the paper in the conference proceedings. The student must be the sole or main author of the paper. The text must be accepted for publication. To recognize the course, the student submits the full text of the paper, respectively. conference proceedings. 4. The student submits all the above documents to the course guarantor, who will grant him a credit on the basis of them.
