Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to master the statistical calculation methods using MS Excel spreadsheet and interpretation of the results obtained in practice. In the first part the course focuses on the issue of one-dimensional descriptive statistics. The next part of the course focuses on the study of dependence variables in bivariate statistical files. It also deals with the theme of time series, their characteristics, and leveling. The following is an analysis of the indexes and indexes types used in economic practice.
1. Student describes the basic concepts and relation in statistics. 2. Student explains the use of univariate statistical files and basic data processing for discrete and continuous statistical code. 3. Student defines the characteristics of the level and variability. 4. Student describes two-dimensional statistical ensemble. 5. Students describe and calculate simple linear regression. 6. Student defines the various types of time series and the ways of their settlement.
Prerequisites
There are no special conditions set.
