Learning outcomes
|
Effective communication has an extraordinary importance in managerial practice. Improving and developing communication and presentation skills is, therefore, an important part of preparing students for their managerial practice. Learning outcomes of the course are focused on communication with the focus on presentation and presentation skills, the knowledge gained is applicable in the field of presentation both in the studies and in the corporate environment. The aim of the course is to acquire the basics of communication and presentation skills, including practical preparation of students for various types of presentations, which will be met not only within the management practice. Students will be introduced to the entire presentation process from presentation preparation to its presentation and evaluation. Students will understand the principles of effective verbal and non-verbal communication. They will learn techniques for managing the tricks, as well as the ways to engage the audience and make it active. Students will be familiarized with new ways of presenting using modern tools. Equally, they will learn how to present impressively and comprehensibly themselves, the company, products or projects.
Students will demonstrate their orientation in the presentation, they will learn the principles of creating effective presentations using modern tools. They will practice the preparation of presentations for various occasions (self-presentation, presentation at business meetings, work conference or conference).They will learn how to work with the audience, how to cope with the eventual stage fright, and how to deal with the complications that may arise during the presentation.
