Costs and effects of opportunities. Market mechanism and its regional dimensions. Resource mobility and exchanges. Goods and resources. Buchanan?s concept of goods. Utility value model. Markets and Kirzner?s concepts of entrepreneurial alertness and discovery. Efficiency criteria and market relations. Efficiency criteria as decision-making criteria. Market failure. Structural effects and defects. Budget effects and defects. Monetary effects and defects. Economic structures and their interaction. Economic policy instruments. Capital production and structure. Production function and economic structures. Economic relations and the structure of resources. Structure of wealth and production function. Regional Market effectiveness and state competition.

Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to help students to understand mutual connections of economical actions and sturctures.

Seminar Work
The course is concluded with a colloquium. Seminar paper on an agreed topic in the extent of 10-15 standard pages.
