Course content
The main topics are roles of entrepreneurs and innovation in the economic environment, innovation based business development processes, management and strategic planning. 1. Entrepreneurship role in an economic environment 2. Bases of the innovation process 3. Intellectual rights protection 4. Early stage business development 5. Research outcome or market product 6. Technology introduction - attendees project assignment 7. Lean Canvas and basis of the project management of innovations 8. Marketing and market scale estimation and business planning 9. Deals and agreements in business development 10. Investment process and market entrance challenges 11. Project evaluation

Learning outcomes
The goal of the course is to raise an entrepreneur knowledge and ambitions of the attendees and to help them in transforming an innovative idea to a business.
Students will be able to understand opportunities and risks of the innovative business and its creation.

English knowledge B2. Basic knowledge of business and management.

90 % attendance or test Evaluation of the final elevator pitch as passed by two of three independent evaluators. Grade % = 0,5 * (attendance % or test %) + 0,5 * elevator pitch evaluation % Grading scale: A 91-100 % B 82-90 % C 73-81 % D 64-72 % E 55-63 %
