Learning outcomes |
This course is an introduction to the teaching of English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). The course will develop awareness of current trends in language teaching and learning. Through a programme of discussions and practical teaching activities we will explore the educational contexts in which English is taught. The course will focus on practical materials that students might find useful in their teaching practice and career. The course aims to help students gain competences in teaching English.
This course aims at helping the students gain practical skills and competences in teaching English through activities, discussions and microteaching. |

A working knowledge of English - level B2+.

Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student, Visitation
80% attendance (2 absences maximum) active participation in class discussions and activities doing assignments covering all topics; homework assignments are obligatory even if the student is not present in class microteaching OR recording analysis |
