Course content
The aim of the course is to discuss in greater detail problematic points of English grammar and practise them. Students will be using English language corpora and other databases to compare easily confused structures and expressions.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to discuss in greater detail problematic points of English grammar and practise them. It is especially recommended to students who had problems with the APGR syllabus. Based on the initial diagnostic test, the syllabus will consist of problematic and difficult chapters of the intermediate and upper-intermediate English grammar. Small tests during the term will evaluate the progress and help adjust the syllabus to the course participants´needs. Students will be using English language corpora and other databases to compare easily confused structures and expressions.
Students will be able to discuss in greater detail and practice problematic points of intermediate and upper-intermediate English grammar.

1st year English Philology students

Written exam

attendance (2 absences maximum), active participation in class, home study, tests during the term or a big test at the end of the term
