Course content
The aim of the block seminar, which consists of the individual events of the 17th annual Days of Jewish Culture Olomouc festival (10-27 November 2024), is to present the issue of Jewish mysticism in the changes of time, with an emphasis on the cultural and political space of Central Europe and especially Bohemia and Moravia. Learning outcomes
The aim of the block seminar, which consists of individual events of the 17th annual festival Days of Jewish Culture Olomouc (10 - 27 November 2024), is to present the issue of Jewish mysticism in the changes of time, with an emphasis on the cultural and political space of Bohemia and Moravia.
Participants will gain an overview of Jewish mysticism in the changes of time, with an emphasis on the cultural and political space of Central Europe. Through film and literary reflection and subsequent discussions, they will expand their interpretive and argumentative skills.
Prerequisites
Selected images and lectures are part of the Days of Jewish Culture Olomouc 2024 festival and are also open to the public.
