The aim of the workshops/seminars of foreign professors visiting the Centre for Jewish Studies within the framework of international academic mobility (CJS currently has agreements with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Bar Ilan University in Ramat Gan, it also cooperates with universities in Vienna, Krakow and Potsdam) is to deepen the knowledge of students of Judaic studies on specific topics within the history, philosophy and cultural and intellectual heritage of the Jews, to enrich them with international perspectives and to strengthen their argumentative and interpretive skills. The current schedule of lectures is always published at the beginning of the academic year.
Graduates will gain deeper insight into selected topics within Jewish history, philosophy, and cultural and intellectual heritage, enrich their knowledge with the perspective of international experts, and strengthen their argumentative and interpretive skills. In addition, they will strengthen their ability to read and discuss scholarly texts in English or other foreign languages.
