Scientific research is research conducted using systematic scientific methods to obtain, analyse and interpret data. It can be classified as observational or experimental with respect to data collection techniques, descriptive or analytical with respect to causality, and prospective, retrospective or cross-sectional with respect to time. In this course, students will learn about the basic forms of scientific research and independently carry out their chosen form of research. They will then analyse and present the results in a clear manner.
