The subject analyzes social, psychological and additional determinants of inflammatory bowel disease-IBD. As part of the study of the required reading and the consequent discussion, students will look at themes such as: key concepts and models in the area of study and psycho-social aspects of IBD illnesses and health disadvantages, illness and health disadvantages on the individual, interpersonal and social levels, the epidemiology of health disadvantages and chronic illnesses in the general population, stigma. Current literature will be used in the course.
