Learning outcomes
The subject acquaints students with the methodology of qualitative applied research in the areas of subjective experience of health, DIPEx. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the aim of the project and the DIPEx research, with the process of its realization from the preparation of the project up to its completion and practical application and publishing of the results. The content of the themes for the particular lessons is written below: The goal of the DIPEx project and its applications - use in healthcare, teaching and education Ethical questions linked with the realization of the research (protection of personal data, informed agreement, agreement with the use of data) Theoretical background for DIPEx research Competence of DIPEx researchers Process of DIPEx research (preparation phase, advisory panel, collecting participants, register of participants) Realization of the actual interview (equipment for the interview, leading an interview, recording an interview) Archiving data (transcribing interviews, controlling interviews, preparation and archiving of biographical data about the participant) Analysis of data (coding data, thematic analysis, OSOP method) Preparation of web pages: preparation of the materials for the web, preparation of topic summaries, preparation of samples from interviews Recommendations for preparation of scholarly publications
