Course content
|
The specifics of the formulation of the research problem, goals and research questions in qualitative research in social work and the subsequent selection of appropriate data collection methods. Specifics of choosing research methods in qualitative research. Data collection methods. Data processing methods. Data processing software variables. Methods associated with supporting the validity of qualitative research. The lesson will be focused on practicing the mentioned issue.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will become more familiar with the issue of qualitative research in the context of social work. During the lectures and seminars, we will deal with the choice and use of various qualitative data collection techniques and the most common approaches to their analysis. The aim of the subject is to help students in the preparation of diploma theses, which should include a qualitative investigation.

Prerequisites
|
Completion of the Sociology course, interest in qualitative research and its use in practice.

Dialog
Participation in lectures and seminars, presentation of parts of your research, active participation in the discussion and solving assigned tasks.
