|
The aim of the course Theory and Methods of Social Work 1 is to provide the students with an overview of advanced theories and methods of social work usable for their practice in clinical social work. To enable the acquisition of knowledge in the field of control and providing social work with regard to the needs of the client in combination with a focus on the functioning of the organization. During the seminars, students will learn issues related to ethical decision-making and ethical dilemmas, including pitfalls and protection of the client and the social worker. Specific cases of providing social work to the client are also presented. The text seminar is devoted to the history of social work in the world and in the Czech Republic. International trends and current challenges for social work are discussed.
