Management of Diabetes mellitus in out-patient department and in clinical practice.

Learning outcomes
|
Practical implementation of treatment 1 diabetes and 2 type controls in the outpatient diabetes clinic and the wards, monitor the efficacy of treatment of diabetes. Diabetes education in the fundamentals of the influence of diet and physical activity, treatment with insulin or oral antidiabetic agents on glucose control, the practical issues of diagnosis and treatment of acute and late complications of diabetes. Principles of treatment program, accurate diagnosis, education, testing, intensive insulin therapy with dosing in practice, a separate decision on further treatment of diabetes.
To perform basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in diabetes care based on gained knowledge and practical skills.

|
Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student
Participation in the 40 hours of practical training in diabetes ambulance, a total of 5 days after 8 hours.
