History and objective clinical evaluation in internal medicine and cardiology. Laboratory and evaluation methods in internal medicine and cardiology. Arrhythmias, ECG. Coronary artery disease, hypertension. Heart failure, valvular diseases. Cardiomyopathy, endocarditis, myocarditis, pericarditis.

Výstupy z učení

Students will acquire basic orientation in medical documentation, history taking, physical examination principles in internal medicine, general information about examination techniques used in internal medicine focused on orientation in heart and circulatory diseases examination possibilities. Acquired knowledge will be practiced during a bed-side practical training.
Students should be able to recognize internal diseases symptoms, diagnose organ impairment and set a working diagnose after the fifth semester. Students should be oriented in the range of diagnostic possibilities used in internal medicine and able to apply diagnostic and therapeutic methods in acute situations in cardiology as well as in common heart and vessels diseases.
