Syntax of medical terms; declension I-V, nouns, adjectives, Latin and Greek vocabulary; prepositions, numerals; verb systém; Latin and Greek prefixes and suffixes; Latin and Greek compounds; language in diagnostics; phrases used in medical prescriptions; pharmaceutical terminology.

Learning outcomes
|
The academic subject is focused on the fundamentals of Latin-Greek terminology the knowledge of which is necessary for a professional working in the fields of nursing care and midwifery.
Students learn fundamentals of Latin morphology, Latin and Greek suffixes and prefixes; they can form new words with derivation and they understand compounds.
