Course content
Definition of philosophy, basic concepts, problem of knowledge, being and man Philosophy and nursing, main philosophical trends in nursing Ethics - basic terms, subject definition, historical roots, sources of nursing ethics Codes and Principles, Rights and Obligations, Code of Ethics of a Non-medical Healthcare Professional with respect to the Radiology Assistant Profession The problem of security and human dignity of clients (patient intimacy, appropriate communication) with respect to radiological procedures Patient rights and compliance in radiology, informed consent and its use in radiology The problem of security and human dignity of clients with regard to radiological procedures, damage by radiologist assistant, burnout syndrome Topic of work with a child patient, mentally / physically handicapped client, client suffering

Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a theoretical basis for creating a value system in radiological practice. It introduces the problems of philosophy and ethics and their relation to science, knowledge, man, evaluation and action. The aim is to clarify the basic philosophical attitudes leading to the holistic conception of man, family and society and also to acquaint oneself with key ethical topics and correct behavior in solving ethical problems in the practice of radiologist.
Students will acquire knowledge of basic ethical topics and their penetration into the field of radiology and will be able to consider moral consideration.

Admission to study at the university.

Written exam
