Course content
Seminars: 1) Preparation of educational projects (information and education center FZV UP). Formal requirements for project modification. Work with student projects in the information center. 2) E-learning opportunities for education of experts in the practice of optometry. Preparation of e-learning supports for the study of OPTOMETRY and for the creation of e-learning supports for self-study in preparation for exercises in selected study subjects. 3) Principles of didactic processing of professional texts. Working with text. 4) Opponent of projects and e-learning supports. Methods for evaluating the effectiveness and quality of educational interventions. 5) Electronic library, introduction to the FZV portal and the PřF UP portal. 6) Public presentations. Exercises: Completion of an educational project for lay people. Internal presentation and opposition. Proofreading of texts of individual projects. Choice of text for self-study in preparation for exercises in subjects of the field of Optometry. Technical processing of projects - elearning. External opponents of individual projects - elearning. Processing tasks for self-study. Examples of control exercises. Preparation of public defenses, cooperation with professional consultants. Public presentation and defense - opponents of individual projects and e-learning supports.

Learning outcomes
Within this study course, the orthoptist learns how to perform educational interventions for determined and undetermined target groups and for individuals. He/She learns how to project special educational modules at a professional level, utilizing pedagogical principles and methods for this aim.
The student applied knowledge of andragogy in creating support for distance education of optometrists. Students create an e-learning study text.
