The main topics of the course: -Communication with people with physical and sensory disabilities -Communication with minorities -Communication with troubled patient -Communication with patients with depression -Communication with aggressive patient -Communication with a dying patient -Communication with survivor -Communication with a chronic ill patient -Communication with the patient addicted to drugs

Learning outcomes
|
The course builds on the knowledge gained in the course Communication. Knowledge forms the basis of professional skills of nurses. The contact with the patient with specific needs is very important for further effective and quality care and their individual needs.
Students apply principles and skills, adequate communication with patients with physical, sensory, multiple disabilities patients, minorities, with patients with challenging behavior, with patients with mental problems and dying patients. Students learn practical skills of communication process.
