Learning outcomes
|
To teach basic psychological concepts and processes in the field of nursing; to explain the theories of psyche, the biological determination of psyche, the interactions of biological and cultural influences in psyche, basic psychological processes and their characteristics (Gnostic, motivation, emotional processes). To explain the development of psyche in terms of phylogenesis in the field of nursing; to explain mental development in newborns, adolescents, adults and the particularities of mental changes in childhood, adulthood and old age; to teach individual levels of mental development - newborn and suckling period, toddler, preschool period, the period of the first structural change, younger school age, preadolescence and adolescence, puberty, adulthood and aging process.
On completion of the course students will be acquainted with the basic psychological concepts, with basic mental phenomena and they will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in their clinical practice.
