Course content
Syntactic structure of medical terms, 1st to 5th declension, nouns, adjectives; Latin and Greek terminology; prepositions, numerals; verb system; Latin and Greek prefixes and suffixes; Latin composed words; Greek composed words.

Learning outcomes
Students will master Latin medical terminology used in professional practice; they will acquire the basics of Latin morphology; they will learn basic word building principles; and they will be able to derive and understand composed expressions.
Students will be able to understand Latin terminology used in their professional practice; Knowledge of Latin terminology will become basis for terminology used in other languages.
