Learning outcomes
|
Students will perfect their general English competency; they will broaden their knowledge of grammar at intermediate level with an insight into the specific features of medical English; they will master basic medical terminology and acquire knowledge of physiotherapy areas; they will be able to read, understand and translate medical texts in English.
Students will gain background for further usage of English in their professional career.

Prerequisites

Minimal English language ability at level B1/B2 - intermediate.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam, Seminar Work
Seminar attendance and activity, written tests. The course is finished with an oral exam (scientific text translation and discussion).
