The course is aimed to inform students about actual problems in haemosthasis in the clinical praxis. Clinically important problems in diagnostic and treatment of thrombophilia and bleeding diathesis are discussed during the course. Abnormalities of haemosthasis have increasing impact in other branches of medicine, from internal medicine, neurology, surgery, obstetrics to stomatology and they did not gain appropriate attention during the standard curriculum of internal medicine.
