Course content
Topics of practical lectures: 1.Hand as a functional unit of the upper limb. 2.Forms, examination and grip testing. 3.Damage to the tendon apparatus of the hand. 4.Rehabilitation of individual clinical units. 5.Basic functional kinesiology of the hands of patients after spinal trauma, CP, CMP. 6.Differential diagnosis in the wrist area and CMC joint instability. 7.Peripheral upper limb paresis and surgical reconstruction.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide a basic overview of kinesiology and pathogenesis of the hand, differential diagnosis, hand rehabilitation in the context of the upper limb and familiarization with the basic splinting techniques of the upper limb acre.
Students will acquire basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to perform specific hand and the upper limb therapy after traumatological, rheumatological and neurological disabilities.
