Topics of seminars: 1.Introduction to the issue of physical activity prescription, body adaptation to physical exercise. 2.Functional stress diagnostics. 3.Therapeutic rehabilitation in patients with coronary artery disease. 4.Therapeutic rehabilitation in patients with peripheral artery disease and diabetes mellitus patients. 5.Therapeutic rehabilitation in patients after cardiac and pulmonary surgeries. 6.Therapeutic rehabilitation in patients with peripheral vascular disease. 7. General approach to breathing mechanism and control. 8. Diaphragm- physiology, pathophysiology and physical therapy. 9. Pulmonary physical therapy. Practical lectures: 15 practical lectures in the Department of Sports Medicine and Cardiovascular Rehabilitation

The course Cardiovascular rehabilitation gives a comprehensive view on the issue of therapeutic rehabilitation strategies and methods of physiotherapy in patients with cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease and influencing of risk factors.
Familiarization with the principles of cardiovascular rehabilitation, principles of appropriate physical exercise and leading of rehabilitation programmes in patients with cardiovascular disease.
