Course content
Anthropometrical topography, palpation of anthropometric points. Body weight, standards, BMI, practical measurements. Height and weight measurements, circumference measurements of upper extremity. Width measurements of shoulders, chest, pelvis; circumference measurements of head, chest, abdomen, and hips. Relative measurements and indexes, proportionality. Somatotypes, calibration.

Learning outcomes
The basic application of anthropological metric methods in clinical rehabilitation. Introduction to the human variability phenomenon, phenotype variability, and genetical-morphological variability. Somatic variations measurement issues. Variability of physiological (movement) parameters.
Students will be able to use anthropological metric methods in the assessment of a patient.
