Course content
PNF - philosophy, basic facilitation mechanisms, patterns for shoulderblade, pelvis, upper and lower extremity. Basic facilitation and relaxation techniques. Bobath Concept philosophy, principles, rotation, counter-rotation of the trunk, sitting, balance reactions in sitting, standing, handling in gait, hemiplegics gait therapy. Neurodynamics - principles, basic manoeuvres. McKenzie - diagnostics and therapy basics. Brunkow - principles and basic techniques. Vojta therapy - basic movement patterns, stimulation. Postural therapy based on developmental kinesiology - basal programs and sub-programs (J.Čápová method). Feldenkreis method.

Learning outcomes
Students will gain a rational overview of internationally used physiotherapy and ergotherapy methods with respect to EBM - PNF, Bobath concept, McKenzie, Vojta reflex locomotion, postural therapy based on developmental kinesiotherapy, Ludmila Mojžíšová's method, the Feldenkreis method, Brügger concept, etc.
Students will be able to actively use components of individual methods in clinical practice.

Oral exam, Written exam, Student performance, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student

Participation in practicums. Successful completion of written test. Practical examination of taught concepts.
