Course content
|
Students carry out a kinesiological assessment on an assigned patient under PT supervision. Establish short- and long-term rehabilitation plan and after consulting a PT they perform basic treatment and physiotherapeutic techniques. Students are provided the patients' medical documentation prior to the assessment.

The goal of the practicum is to acquire a system of efficient work habits and skills under the supervision of instructors and other participants in the therapeutic process. Students will participate in comprehensive team therapeutic care and cooperate with other health care professionals by fulfilling the rehabilitation and educational programs with a focus on the training of self-care functions and daily activities.
Upon completion of the course students will master kinesiotherapeutic strategy in individual clinical fields (traumatology, neurology, neurosurgery, internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and psychiatry). Students will be capable of managing rehabilitation and education programs in individual patients.

100% attendance confirmation. Written confirmation of completing the practical training.
