Annotation: This practical subject introduces students to the specific form of physical education focusing on physically weak individuals. It represents the means of Functional exercise in clinical practice, its division, goals and possibilities. Students will get an overview of the specifics and risks of each type of weakness. In the practical training the students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to create individual and group training programs for the physically weak individuals. Topics for seminars and practical lectures: 1. Presentation of Functional exercises in clinical practice, division, goals, organizational units, types of health impairment. 2. Functional exercise for individuals with mobility disorders. 3. Functional exercise for individuals with respiratory system disorders. 4. Functional exercise for individuals with cardiovascular system disorders. 5. Functional exercise for individuals with disorders of the nervous system. 6. Age specificities and pathogenesis, choice of appropriate functional exercise for seniors.

Výstupy z učení
|
The aim of the Functional exercise in clinical practice is to learn the students theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills in the area of preventive exercise programs and health physical education. Throughout the course emphasis will be put on individual student's work in implementing various exercises in preventive rehabilitation units designed for patients with different types of healt impairments.
The students will be able to use the acquired knowledge and skills in their future jobs in rehabilitation centres and sports centres and for their personal development of the physical and mental health.

Předpoklady
|
Prior knowledge in anatomy, and basic kinesiotherapy. Practical skills with some preventive exercises programs for example: passive stretching, active stretching, straitening deep stabilization system, pilates, joga...).
