Course content
The course consists of interactive sessions with individual students (or small groups). The course will deal with how to design a quantitative research project. Students will have the opportunity to discuss projects they are working on or have in mind. We will discuss how to outline and design a quantitative research project and the appropriate statistical techniques that could be employed.

Learning outcomes
The course will offer the individual/small group interactive sessions of how to design a quantitative research project. Students will have the opportunity to discuss projects they are working on or have in mind. We will discuss how to outline and design a quantitative research project and the appropriate statistical techniques that could be employed. The course will take place in form of individual consultations in the week between May 19th and May 23rd. Concerete date and times of consultations for students will be announced. The course is primarily offered to the Ph.D. students with certain basic knowledge of quantitative methodology and research. To the interested students without any quantitative methods background we strongly reccommend the course of prof. LaPlant " Quantitative methods in social sciences" which will take place also in the week of May 19 and 23rd 2014.
