Obsah předmětu
|
Předmět je zaměřen na speciální farmakologii kardiovaskulárního, respiračního a gastrointestinálního systému, antiinfekčních léčiv, hormonů a protinádorových léčiv. Dále na farmakoterapii zvláštních skupin pacientů (dětí, starých osob a těhotných), intoxikací a urgentních stavů.

Výstupy z učení
|
The student should be familiar with basic principles of general pharmacology and its application to special pharmacology, to have basic knowledge of the pharmacology of the major drug groups, significant adverse effects of drugs and significant drug interactions, to be able to prescribe correctly all drug forms commonly used in medical practice.
The student should be able to use the knowledge both in his studies of clinical subjects and in his medical profession.

Hodnoticí metody a kritéria
|
Známkou, Ústní zkouška, Písemná zkouška
Participation in at least 12 practicals, three control written tests with results reaching at least 70% of maximum possible points. In case of failure at the tests written in the course of practicals, it is possible to repeat (maximally three times) the final written test. The topics of individual written test will be always presented in the course of the previous practical. Practical skills: Students will be able to use main sources of drug information, to make basic pharmacotherapeutic decisions regarding selection of treatment, management and diagnostics of adverse effects, drug-drug interactions. Practical skills are tested continuously using case-based questions in the formative MCQ tests. A discussion of a patient case is a part of the exam, corresponds to 20 % of the final grade.
