Course content
|
The principal recipients of sewerage waters and other wastes from human activities . Potentialities how to primary solve these problems (underground collectors, lakes, rivers). Historical evolution of water pollution, status quo in Czech Republic and EU. Manners and rate self-purification in particular water biotopes. Accident on underground waters, in rivers, lakes. World-wide example accident. conventional source of pollution, summary of and evolution their changes. Current water conservation in Czech republic as a part of EU.

Learning outcomes
|
The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus.
Knowledge Define water pollution of water ecosystems. Identify various kind of water pollution including legislative tools.

Elementary knowledge in hydrobiology and water ecology.
