Course content
Historical aspects of development of the Czech landscape in context of central Europe. The historical process of landscape cultivation. Basic "archetypes" of cultural landscape. Areas of an historical settlement in Czech landscape. Problems of landscape development in Czech and European context - dynamics of changes in the landscape pattern over the 20th century.

Learning outcomes
The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus.
Understanding the landscape development in various spatial scales especially during the Quaternary and with focus to the development of human society. Identificationof symptoms of historical and cultural landscape use. Recognize effects of above mentioned on landscape pattern and the landscape functioning. Landscape classifications and data sources for landscape development research.
Prerequisites
A general survey in natural science and general overview.

Mark, Oral exam, Written exam

Ended by written exam. Knowledge and good orientation in covered topics.
