Course content
Student learns how to classify biological variables (kvantitative, kvalitative, proportions, counts) and ways of statistical analysis in a program R. Course focuses on inputting data, ways of their modification and graphical output. The basic approaches of statistical analysis, such as correlation analysis, linear regression, analysis of variance and covariance, will be explained. Additionally, attention is paid to modern methods of analysis covering geralized linear models (GLM) and generalized linear mixed models (GLMM). At the end of course, methods of nonlinear regression and generalized additive models will be touched.
