Course content

Terminology and history of Czech environmental pedagogy. Methods and ethic of environment education, recomendations. Tools and information sources; educational plans for field work with young people - basic school, secondary school. NGO and environmental centres focussed on education. Global problems. Project as an essential for teaching. Position of environmental pedagogy in school education programmes.

Learning outcomes
|
The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus. Absolvents are able to teach at schools.
Application - Know the branch specific pedagogical process - Understand and know the age-specific restrictions on the understanding of pupils - Understand and know the age-specific needs and interests of pupils - Able to adapt teaching methods to presented topic - Be able to prepare a lecture, seminar, workshop and field trip
