The seminar focuses on the form and development of art and crafts production on the territory of Bohemia and Moravia in the period from the 6th century to 12th century. Main attention will be concentrated on ? for the investigated period - symptomatic and characteristic handicraft products and used decoration and iconographic themes as well as their sence and meaning. There will be also offered ?visit? to the art and crafts production in neighbouring countries ? Slovac Republic, Poland, Germany, Austria, Hungaria to place handicraft products from Bohemia and Moravia into international context. The seminar links to and deepen lectures of PhDr. Josef Bláha Czech countries from prehistory to the 10th century.
