Franciscans, Augustinians, Dominicans, Jesuits. 4. Indians, Negroes amd the Spanish in 16th century and during the colony (?Serlio in the hands of Indians), preparation of synthesis. 5. Indian-European style tequitqui; cathedrals in the New World; secular architecture: port fortifications (especially ?gate of America?- Cartagena), palaces, trade centres. 6. Baroque synthesis: Mexico, Peru, Paraguay (reduction) a Brasil 7. Historical contacts between Czech and Latinamerican countries (links between both regions, especially thanks to the Czech missionaries)

Student performance
Student has to know for graduation of verbal colloquium basic terms, geographical, historical and formal characteristics of development of architecture and art in northern and southern America from 1492 up to independence of American states (beginning of 19th century), especially in the relationship to conquest of America by the Spanish and missions (New Spain/Mexico, New Granada, Brazil etc.).
