Learning outcomes
The course focuses on modern and avant-garde art, with special attention to their sources of inspiration. It focuses on inspirations of modern artists by older European art, non-European art, caricature, popular culture, or folk art. These inspiration will be interpreted critically in a political, social, and cultural context.
