Learning outcomes
The course focuses on preparing students for practical training in institutions where they most often find professional employment ? in heritage institutes, offices, public, church and private heritage sites, relevant public administration departments or academic institutions. Practical training in archaeological research can also be used. Based on their own contacts or recommendations from the department, students choose an institution outside Czechia or outside their country of permanent residence/origin, and, with the consent of all parties, they work on a project that develops their practical skills (recording items from museum collections, assisting in the preparation of exhibitions, etc.). The topics The topics of the projects change every semester. The number of hours allocated to the subject includes, as necessary, independent preparation by students for the internship and the processing of the project results. The internship can be completed twice during the course of study.
