Survey of important works of the European Baroque architect J.B.Fischer von Erlach (1656-1723). Fischer´s oeuvre within the context of the Central European Baroque including his links to the Bohemia and Moravia.
In-depth knowledge on Central European architecture of the Baroque era and their Italian origins.

Prerequisites
|
Attendance at the overview lectures on the Baroque architecture. Knowledge on the European history and art history of the 17th and 18th century. Basic knowledge on the methods of formal and comparative analysis.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Dialog
80% attendance; pro-active participation in the discussions; at leat 60% success rate in the written exam.
