Learning outcomes
The course can be completed by submitting a published professional text that was prepared as part of studies at the Faculty of Arts, Palacký University, and which, according to the national methodology for evaluating scientific outputs, meets all the criteria for category B outputs (professional book) in the scientific field of 6.4 Arts, and was published by a foreign publisher in printed or electronic form publication. Foreign publishers do not include Slovakia, or for students from Slovakia, Czechia, and generally the student's country of origin. To fulfill the conditions for obtaining credit, the student must be the main (i.e., first) author of the publication and at the same time have at least a 33% share in the total scope of the output. To obtain credit, students must, in cooperation with the department's scientific secretary or another authorized person, enter the output into the OBD (Personal Bibliographic Database) at FF UP. Results that arose in connection with the performance of activities outside of studies at FF UP cannot be recognized. During the academic year, the course guarantor provides advice during consultation hours in relation to publication output and publication strategy. They evaluate the quality of the publication and decide on the fulfillment of the requirements for awarding credit. The course can be enrolled in and completed repeatedly with different outputs. The course is conducted in a form of individual consultations beyond the regular schedule.
